Karen graduated Johnson C. Smith University with a Degree in Accounting. She has 9 years of experience combined in corporate and public accounting.
Beyond her career aspirations, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family, trying new food and travelling.
Mirian is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a degree in Accounting and actively pursuing her CPA License. She has seven years of experience in public accounting.

Katie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Accounting. She began her career in 2017 in outsourced public accounting in the non-profit sector and quickly developed a passion for software and efficiency. After transitioning to software implementation of Sage Intacct, Katie rejoined the public accounting world in 2022 where she expanded her skill set to learn additional industries. She is excited to be working primarily in the non-profit sector again as a senior accountant at Goldin Group. In her spare time, Katie enjoys playing sports, traveling, and spending time with her 2 dogs
Svitlana oversees the tasks of sending invoices to clients and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full. Her most outstanding job qualities are her diligence in resolving technical problems, attention to detail, and being able to meet deadlines.
Prior to joining Goldin Group in March 2022, Svitlana worked as an Operations Manager at fundraising company Lynch Pinnacle Group in Bethesda, MD, where she gained valuable experience in accounting, research, office administration and project management. Svitlana holds a BS in Management from Private Higher Educational Institution European University and MS in Business Management from National Agrarian and Ecological University of Zhytomyr City, Ukraine. She is currently working on expanding her knowledge in accounting by finishing an online course from Penn Foster College.
Svitlana is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian and is working on her Spanish. She loves a healthy lifestyle and traveling. She adores animals and spends a lot of time with her Siberian husky Cherry.
Natalia has a degree in Economics from the Technical University of Moldova. In her present position, she serves as a liaison between our clients and respective payroll providers. Natalia is a full-cycle payroll specialist and works with various payroll software providers such as ADP, Paycom and Gusto. When she is away from the office, Natalia loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Beverly earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and her MBA from Northern Kentucky University. Beverly has 30+ years’ experience in various industries including public accounting, banking, healthcare and non-profit. Beverly is serving as the Controller of Fiscal Management Services for The Arc CCR overseeing payroll, A/P, and financial reporting for over 1,600 participants. Bev enjoys travel and almost anything outdoors including sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and hiking.
Stella is an Accountant with two years’ experience. She graduated from The University of California San Francisco and is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia.
Stella enjoys cooking tasty meals and treats for her friends and loved ones.
Carson is a payroll specialist who has worked for the Goldin Group since 2019. Carson attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, and spent 8 years as a professional chef before transitioning to his career in finance and accounting. An avid outdoorsman, Carson enjoys spending time climbing rocks, camping, and bicycling in his free time.
Mr. Goldin brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business consulting services. Graduated from George Washington University with an MBA degree in Finance and Investments. CPA licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

Goldin Group Accountants and Advisors’ strength lies in combining innovative technology with deep accounting and advisory expertise to streamline processes, achieve efficiencies, and concentrate on the strategic mission of the Organizations.
Prior experience was as Director of Finance of the Organization of American States – a large international organization headquartered in DC.
Ariel manages Goldin Group’s client acquisition and ongoing marketing processes, which is a fancy way of saying he is the Director of Client Relations. In the summer, Ariel likes to play tennis, and, in the winter, he enjoys snowboarding trips with his friends. Ariel’s prior work experience involves fund accounting for Private Equity funds until he joined Goldin Group in 2019. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Elon University and is a licensed CPA.
Yalu graduated from Clark University. She has 3 years of experience, and specializes in Sage, Intacct, and Quickbooks. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats and watching movies.
Alicia has been a licensed CPA since 1993 and brings extensive experience from the non-profit, Big 4 public accounting, Fortune 100, and private sectors. After receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas, Alicia embarked on her career in public accounting at KPMG before transitioning to financial management for nearly a decade at SBC Communications (now AT&T).
After gaining 17 years of experience in non-profit senior leadership roles, Alicia is a Chief Financial Officer at Goldin Group where she is responsible for leading teams of accountants while offering strategic insights to help our clients achieve their organizational goals. Dedicated to community service, she has volunteered at her church, sorority, and served on various non-profit boards through the years. In her downtime, Alicia enjoys family time and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
With a master’s degree in accounting from George Washington University, Chaoqi “Rick” Liu has been with the Goldin Group since 2017. Rick has over five years of experience in providing full-cycle accounting and CFO services for nonprofit organizations, including membership association and fiscal sponsorship providers ranging from $100 thousand to $5 million in revenue. He enjoys skiing in the winter months and watching television and movies when off the clock.
Becki graduated from Towson University in 2012 and completed a second degree in Accounting from SNHU in the summer of 2022. She has nearly 14 years of experience in nonprofit accounting with prior specialist positions in payroll, accounts payable, and HR positions. Prior to her current role, she led our Medicaid Billing team and also worked part-time with our Tax Department. In her spare time, she dabbles in cryptocurrency, artistic woodburning (pyrography), and raising honeybees.
Ruby graduated with a master’s degree in Accounting from George Washington University in 2015 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Colorado State University in 2013. Ruby has been with Goldin Group for over 7 years and has served as the CFO and Controller for some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the State of Maryland. Ruby specializes in nonprofit financial reporting, financial analysis, fiscal management services, nonprofit and government contractor financial audit readiness, accounting software integrations, and the full nonprofit and government contractor accounting cycle. Ruby’s software specialties include Sage Intacct, Quickbooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel.
I graduated from the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis with a double major in accounting and finance. I have accumulated over nine years of experience in accounting and finance. I am a Certified Public Accountant.
Before joining the Goldin Group, I worked at a private company as a finance manager.
During my downtime, I enjoy exercising, exploring new places, and taking photos.
Grace has been with the Goldin Group for 10 years, starting as a Junior Accountant and now serving as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. With a master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University, her previous experience includes serving as an auditor for Deloitte and as a financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company. Grace’s current responsibilities include assessing our client’s needs, managing the onboarding process, and coordination of Goldin Group’s CFO services. During her downtime, Grace loves to go hiking with her dog.
Jung graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018 with a double major in Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Accounting degree from Virginia Tech’s Graduate School in 2019. With five years of experience in public accounting, Jung has specialized in serving industries such as real estate-multifamily HUD properties, not-for-profit organizations, and ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act) plans.
Throughout his career, Jung has developed extensive knowledge in financial analysis, financial reporting, and the implementation of accounting standards under GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). His comprehensive expertise in these areas allows him to deliver highly effective and efficient solutions to clients in a variety of industries.
Outside of work, Jung is passionate about the outdoors and is an avid camper. He also enjoys Formula 1 racing and makes a point to watch it live whenever possible.
Lana joined the Goldin Group in 2021 with a combined 14 years of experience serving both the corporate and nonprofit sector. As the Tax Manager, Lana oversees all client tax filings as well as leverages her experience to provide tax planning services. Lana is a graduate of National Aerospace University – “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” with a degree in Accounting/Finance and is a licensed CPA. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
Lucy earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting from George Washington University and a law degree in business law and financial compliance from the University of Southern California. Lucy has over five years of experience in nonprofit accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit, payroll processing, and grant management. She also has extensive experience with software such as Abila MIP, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and ADP Workforce Now. Lucy loves camping in her spare time and camps every year at Shenandoah, WV.
“Joe” graduated with a master’s degree in Accounting from Tulane University in 2014. While at Tulane, Joe played on the Varsity Football team since his Freshman year. Joe has been with Goldin Group for over 4 years and has served as the Controller for some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the State of Maryland. Joe specializes in nonprofit financial reporting, financial analysis, software integrations, and the full nonprofit accounting cycle. Joe’s software specialties include Sage Intacct, Quickbooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel.
Having graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Economics, Sergei is an in-house payroll and IT specialist. Sergei has over 6 years’ experience providing full-cycle payroll services for nonprofit organizations ranging from $1 million to $50 million in revenue, including organizations with as many as 1,800 employees. Well-versed in the use of many different payroll software, such as ADP, Paycom, Paychex, Paylocity, and Gusto, Sergei possesses extensive experience in serving as the liaison between our clients and their respective payroll providers.
Evelyn earned her Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of California, Irvine, in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2015. She began her career in full-cycle accounting at an aerospace manufacturing company before gaining four years of public accounting experience working with nonprofit clients.
